Whole-home climate control hidden in the ceiling — everything you need to know before you buy.
A ducted system consists of an outdoor compressor and an indoor air handler unit installed in your ceiling cavity. The air handler draws air through return ducts, conditions it, and distributes it through a network of supply ducts and ceiling vents — keeping every room at the same temperature.
Most modern ducted systems support zoning, which lets you open and close dampers to different areas of the home. Only conditioning the rooms you're using can significantly reduce running costs.
All systems we stock are reverse-cycle — they heat and cool, so one system handles your home year-round.
Ducted systems have too many variables for a one-size-fits-all guide — ceiling height, insulation, orientation, window area, and zoning all affect the heat load calculation. Getting it wrong means an undersized system that can't keep up, or an oversized one that short-cycles and drives up your power bill.
