Our commitment to making it right — whether that's a faulty unit, the wrong item, or transit damage.
If a unit has a manufacturing fault or does not power on when first connected by a licensed installer, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or authorise a warranty repair through the manufacturer's Australian service network.
Important: Do not attempt to install a unit that appears physically damaged or faulty. Installing a unit that was already faulty can complicate a warranty claim. Contact us first.
If you receive a different model or capacity to what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the unit label. We will arrange a return pickup and send the correct item at no cost to you.
Before signing for delivery: inspect the outer carton for damage. If damage is visible, note it on the delivery docket before signing, or refuse delivery. Open and inspect the unit on the day it arrives.
Report transit damage within 48 hours by emailing photos to admin@project-air.com.au. We will raise a claim with the freight carrier and arrange a replacement. Claims made after 48 hours may not be accepted by the carrier.
Air conditioning systems are specialist goods. We cannot accept change-of-mind returns on units that have been unboxed, installed, or connected to refrigerant or electrical supply.
Unopened units in original, undamaged packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. A 15% restocking fee applies, and return freight is at the buyer's expense. Please contact us before sending anything back.
If you're unsure about sizing or compatibility before you buy, please give us a call — we'd rather help you get the right unit first time than deal with a return.
All units carry the manufacturer's Australian warranty:
Warranty is conditional on installation by a licensed refrigeration mechanic holding a current ARCtick authorisation. Keep your installation certificate — you'll need it for any warranty claim. Warranty is voided by unlicensed installation, physical damage, or non-approved modifications.
